사랑한다는 말보다

물론 사랑한다는 말보다 더 예쁘고, 더 소중한 말은 없겠지만
때론 사랑한다는 말보다 '내가 같이 있을게' 하는 말이 더 절절하게 마음으로 다가온다.

뭐랄까, 횡하니 던져놓은 사랑한다는 말,
때론 너무나 막연한 그 한마디보다 믿음을 느낄수 있는 말이랄까?
아니, 그건 차라리 말로 하는 행동일거다.

Michael W. Smith는 20년 넘게 활동해온 CCM계의 대표적인 가수다. 즉 이 노래는 종교적인 곡이라는 얘기! 하지만 굳이 교회를 다니지 않는다고 해도 마음속으로 따뜻하게 느낄 수 있는 멜로디와 가사가 있다. 다분히 올드팝다운 느낌, 나온지 10년도 더 된 노래지만 호주에서 처음듣고서 지금까지도 머리속을 맴돌 정도로 가슴으로 들을 수 있는 노래다. 꼭 가사를 보면서 들어야 하는 노래!!
